Hello Again

Hello Chummies, I feel like I haven't really committed to this blog as late, because I've had so much on. If you know me well, you'll know I like to do everything at once, so with facebook, Youtube, writing in my travel journal and my other blog, as well as travelling, which is really why I'm over here in Europe, in another country where I can't speak the language at all!
So I'm sorry, I apologise and will try a lot harder in future.

Ok, now that's done I can get down to business.

So believe it or not I haven't been in Australia for a week now, which seems crazy as it's gone so fast and also because we've also managed to see and do so much in a week!
If you didn't know, we flew into Frankfurt, Germany early Friday morning and spent the walking around the city. Frankfurt was surprisingly nice, we had heard that it was a business city, if you will, and were not really expecting anything other than some boring buildings, that made up a  skyline a little similar to Melbourne's.
But we were wonderfully surprised, Frankfurt was very sweet and everything was in the middle of the city, I think it's a good city to spend a day in, as there probably isn't that much to do, but visually it is very nice to walk around in.

Things I noticed in Frankfurt:

They park their cars everywhere and anywhere, all the way up on the pavement, halfway into turning a corner, straight up nearly hitting you as you walk past , thinking you're about to die a expensive death, getting hit by an Audi.

They all drive expensive cars, I have neer seen so many Audi's, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari's in my life.

All their taxi's are posh cars, they all seemed to be Mercedes' and Maria even saw one that, and I'm not joking, was a PORSCHE!!! Can you believe it!

They have so many bakeries, bread is everywhere!

They ride bikes everywhere (with no helmets), there are more bike riders than there are pedestrians.

And lastly their cities are so quiet you can hear the birds chirping away, even if you are right in the city centre.

I will try and get up to date in the next couple of days, because we seemed to have slowed down a bit, so look forward to that.
For now though,
Tschüss
Love Katie G
