Sculptures By the Sea

I think I take so many photos that it gets to the point where I've been in Ireland for nearly 5 days but I'm still talking about Denmark, so I apologise.

I'll get there eventually I promise.

In Åhus, which is the biggest city in Jutland, the biggest island in Denmark, every summer for the past three years they have a thing called Sculptures By The Sea. I can't remember if I mentioned this in previous posts, but I'm going to explain it again just in case.

So, Sculptures By The Sea actually originated from Australia, believe it or not. Frederik and Mary saw it when they were in Sydney and decided to bring it to Denmark. It really is great.
They put them all literally on the beach so anyone can see it and its amazing, very cool. So if you're ever in Denmark in the summer and just happen to be in Ãhus, GO!

These were these amazing tubes of plastic that caught the wind and created different noises through the trees.

This was a huge, and I mean HUGE sculpture made of, believe it or not, Soap. People has carved into it because it was actually made of soap, just so you could wash your hands at the seaside.

I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did, am slowly getting more up to date I think...? xx
Love you all
